00:00

Yes sir. Here we go. Welcome to the thorn city syndicate spotlight Show. I'm your hosts, the thorn city podcast guy. First episode, I had to bring my guy, my best friend, or twin. Some of y'all know him as Roy Roy Moore to start it as my best friend. And let me tell it, he's the best rapper in the world. And he always say there's no best there's only favorites. So he's not a favorite. Yes, but I'm gonna say he's the best. And we don't we don't get into a little bit of why. Why I feel that way. Yes, sir. How are we doing, brother?

00:37

I'm doing good, man. I'm happy to be on here. Yeah, Guy has this first podcast?

00:41

Yes. Who would have thunk it? Who would have thought?

00:45

So I had to come on here, man and support you. Yeah. And yeah, I'm just excited for you. And I'm excited to be on here. Let's do it. Let's talk about it. Man, man. Yeah.

00:55

I wouldn't want to I would have never thought I'd be doing a podcast. If anybody knows me, I like to chill and stay behind the scenes. But it's what they say it's time for me to come outside. Now let me

01:08

let me like it's a big deal. Like this is you coming out of your shell? You've always been the man behind the scene. See, back in the day, we called you named Amanda Minnie skin as used to scheme when Allah so this is big, big time.

01:24

Yeah. So yeah, let me tell you about Thorne, city, syndicate and GMP podcast group, the one city syndicate. So the management company, I started to help my friend out, Roy, because he's a rapper, and I needed him to rap. And so in order for me to get him to rap, I decided to pay for my own album. And so the one city syndicate kind of spiraled into podcasting, and me becoming the project manager over a GMP podcast group. So, while I'm starting to show is I'm at the point in business where it's, it's really time for me to scale the business, we want to scale the business. And so for that to happen, I believe it's about networking, and forming some strategic alliances and partnerships. So that's what the show is about the power of networking and forming strategic alliances. And so in a nutshell, that's business. And that's podcasting. Yeah, it's a big network. So that's where we at. So today, we're gonna call this the honesty episode. We're gonna highlight third twins, remarkable journey, and transformation in life. Because that's what we did. And so we got a project, an EP, and we got a music video, and award winning music video, by the way, hoard winning several times over. And so I just kind of wish, wish we had a platform like this when we launched the project, man, you know, so we'll get into a little bit about how it all started. And then we'll go into a little bit about thirds, childhood struggles in his journey to recovery, and they will talk about the impact and healing in the community. You know, so, what we're gonna do now, is we'll play the honesty music video.

03:12

Let's do it. Yeah, for those who haven't seen this powerful video

03:17

assist exists. Don't wait one.

03:20

Welcome back to the Thor city syndicate spotlight show. Third twin in the

03:26

building, in the building.

03:29

So let's talk about how it started. You know, basically, you inspire me to start I did you did, believe it or not, okay. You inspired me to start my management company, okay to get into the business world. And then that kind of turned in me podcasting? Yeah. So let's talk a little bit about the honesty music video. An EP How do you feel about that?

03:56

Well, first of all, I want to start by saying You were always my biggest supporter and fan right so when we talked about this manifesting itself into you doing what you're doing now? I think you always had a business mindset. You were always super responsible you know, I mean, even before you were managing me member you made sure I got everywhere on time or I was managing you always manage right so you already had that mindset and once again, in order to to support somebody the way that you supported me, we had to be friends first. You know, um, but I remember when you came to me because the backstory is you were there the whole journey you were there the first time I put the pencil down, remember that

04:43

I remember when you throw the pad away, and I was like, What are you doing? Yeah, I was like now only that.

04:49

en thought of this. Literally:

05:48

Yeah, honestly, that was a one because I don't know where y'all think y'all was at Shelley's house. Yep. In the garage. And your nephew, Dominique. He recorded it. And you spit that verse in on the world was that when I seen it? I was like, damn. Eyebrows going through it, man. I gotta do something. Yeah. I don't know what I'm gonna do. But I'm gonna do something.

06:10

And I think that line. I'm crying out for help, man. Your boy fucked up. Really? Yeah.

06:14

But you know what I heard was on crying out for help. Name you boy. That's what I heard. That's what you felt like he was talking to me. Yeah, yeah. And so the honestly music video we put into some film festivals. We screened it all over the world. I got to travel to a couple of different states and actually see the impact that that's on had on people who has no clue who you are who we are. And they could just they just really received a powerful message that was in that song. Yeah. Yeah. It's really, really poetic. And I

06:48

think the people who worked who worked on the whole whole project with us, Justin's depender. Minami, like they all were really impacted. I think what compelled them to really want to work on it. So it all was a perfect storm. They came together. Yeah. You know, I mean, you, you created a team, you develop the team that was perfect for that song. Yeah. And we, we put in the work, man. And yeah, it was received. Well,

07:13

yeah. And so that's another reason why I'm starting this podcast, because I'm at a point here. When I started the business, I would say what I have now, here of GMP Park as group studios, is what always wanted of actual a real business. Like it's like really a real business. But it's time to expand and, and really put together a team. So this place can really run, how it can be ran, and really get the full results out of it. Yeah. So it was only right for me to really start the podcast, because like I said, I didn't want to do it. I was hoping I would come across somebody else who would do a podcast and it will blow up and I could stay behind the scenes. But it didn't work out like that. So you know, they say sometimes when you got when you want something done, you got to do it yourself. Yeah. And so what I said my intro was, that's where I'm at. Yeah. And I think you were called to it. Even with your catchphrase, what is it the power, the power of networking and forming strategic alliances?

08:16

Like that's that that like, that's you doing it? Right. That's it. That's, that's the message. And so, that's the way you live, that's your vision. So you got to bring it to him. You know, I mean, I think that's what you'd be watching me. You say you got some you got some practice, because you watch I did. Fade. So it was just a matter of time for you.

08:35

Yeah. And it was a matter of can I do it? Yeah. It's just did I want to do it. I want to do it that I want to do it. And so I got to the point where I'm at now it's like, I want to do it. Yeah. So I'm gonna do it. Yeah. So we're doing it. Yeah. And you're good at it.

08:48

I think it's something that you had no idea that you might you no one really liked doing but shining. Yeah, no, I mean, it's tight. Which is time for me to see. See this

08:57

happening? Yeah, I think that's what today's people said they got superpowers. Yeah, I think one of my powers is I do stuff. And it just happens. It happens.

09:08

It happens where it all started. Miami when you pass on the mic was in Miami? I knew the height man. Yeah, see we set the tone back did

09:21

man I wish they'd never sent us that footage man. I wish we had that. King of Diamonds tore down they did but that was a Yeah, that was a big place big stadium stepped onto yeah you

09:38

know, man, that's crazy.

09:40

Now we've done some we've done some amazing things together man. Well, back to honesty because of you and your you know your faith in me and your support for me. Honesty was made but why not? We're going to talk about this but that truly, that that process what happened during the honesty video in the process. Some honesty, I know is probably the most significant moment in my life for me to change to be where I am now. You know, I mean, it really really is.

10:09

That was like a real deal music video. It's a real deal. You had a whole staff of people working for

10:13

you never experienced a real budget. I mean, no makeup artists. stylists. Yeah. You know. I mean, it was it was really something to experience. You guys try to keep the leashes on me to

10:30

get it? Yeah. Whatever keeps you going and keep you on point. Right. You know, nobody would have never knew, but I knew. Yeah, you know.

10:37

Yeah. But you know, but yeah, for the most part, I held it together.

10:41

By far, you know, like you said, we had the whole crew. Yeah. It was a shout out to the Panther brothers. That did a thing. Right? We really, that kind of we kind of stumbled on him on accident. We really just put on a put out an ad onto Craigslist. Yeah, remember that? We were just looking for somebody to do the script to take the script and turn it into it with a storyboard. Yeah, boy. Yeah. And they end up doing a what they call it an animatic storyboard. Yeah, it's animated storyboard. It was tight. Yeah. And so once they did that, they reached out to us and I was like, man, who you? Who do you have shooting this video for you? Who's directing it? Yeah. Yeah. It was like, well, we knew about the Panther brothers. Yeah. I know. They're big in the comic world. So when he's like, Hey, maybe you should do it.

11:30

I remember Justin was like, no, they're they're huge. They're huge. They're Yeah, they're like important.

11:38

So yeah, and then a bronc. Stephanie. Miss Titchener. Shout out to Stephanie.

11:41

Stephanie. Man. She was yeah, she gave me that cigarette. You still got that? I still got that. I don't smoke cigarettes anymore. But yeah. Are you still getting smoked? And I got 90 days

11:51

outside? Yes, sir.

11:53

I'm done now. Man. You didn't What do you got then left to give up, man? Yeah, I'm about to get buffing sweets, but that's the next thing. That's the next thing is the sweets. Yeah, next thing is just sweets. Wow.

12:08

Man, this is crazy, man. This the spotlight show? Yeah. So what are we gonna do? We're gonna take a break here. We're not gonna do a break. It's gonna be we're gonna do a song. But when we come back, we're gonna talk about third twins early childhood struggles and his journey to recovery. And

12:29

we'll be back we'll be back

12:34

live assist exist.

12:36

Welcome back. Just might miss

12:41

the making of this. I guess this welcome back to these words. So I'm gonna come well, like welcome backwards for sure.

12:50

Yes, sir. Welcome back to the thorn city syndicate spotlight Show. I'm your host Doran city syndicate podcast guy. No, Doran city podcast guy. And we got third twin in the building today. How are we doing, brother?

13:03

Man? I'm still doing well. Man. This

13:05

is This is crazy. This is a trip man. Like it trips me out that I really have this studio here on Burnside, man. Well, my business partner Justin.

13:18

What I mean to cut you off, but you don't even know how many calls I get. Like when people come here and work. People come here. They call you afterwards. Yeah, I'll see them and they'll be so impressed. Really? Yeah, the thing you know, you brought them some of my family members here and they got a chance to see it. Check it out. Yeah, I'm talking about tons of calls. They're like, man, I'll run into somebody. And they'll be like, Brian, you know, he had a like that. It's tight.

13:37

Yes. super tight. Yeah, I'm really, really like, well, we got going on here. And it's really time for us to level up. And so that's why I'm here doing the spotlight show. You know, so let's get into your early childhood and journey to recovery. Any any challenging circumstances? Toggle talk a little bit about when your life took the dark turn. And you became addicted? And you know, in a sense of being your own best customer? Yeah. When did that happen? Well, it's

14:09

a trip talking to you, because you were there the whole time. Right. But often talk about knowing what I know now, name. It happened a long time ago. I'm genetically predisposed. You know, both my parents were heroin addicts. And when I speak in the recovery world, I say my first my first rehab was the incubator that I spent the first six months of my life, you know, I mean, and so early off, I think now when I look back on weed, all that stuff, my body couldn't I was addicted back then I was growing myself to be added. I had added behaviors of what we call it. I was obsessive and compulsive over it. And so I think what we know and we, you know, what I've learned is that it's a progressive disease. And so, you know, after some traumatic Keep in some my life Chris early on started some me internalizing abusing marijuana alcohol you get I'm saying losing my brother to you know overdosed appeals we used to do pills together was probably the deepest, darkest moment of my life followed by losing granddaddy at near my mom, you know, I mean, which ultimately just made me spiral into a dark place with just a lot, man, the world was changing, you know, I mean, life some stuff when my son, you know, my situation, you know, all that all that stuff played a part. It was a like I said it was it was a perfect storm of things happening to where I was trying to hold on, you know, I mean, because I was talented, because I had you guys and you know, we, you know, still, you know, still had women and stuff like that. My disease didn't get as bad as it could have got. And so I had some things instilled in me, you know, I mean, to where it wouldn't get that bad, but I think um, yeah, just just like, man, and being a product of addicts really, really made me abused drugs. You know, I'm

16:11

proud of you, brother. Thank you. No, you know, when we started doing the music, that's all I wanted was my friend back. I know, you know, I mean, I wanted us to blow up and get rich and get a record contract and all that. But that wasn't why I did it.

16:25

I know. You know,

16:26

we talked about it now. Yeah, I just want one of my, and I wanted my own album. Yeah. I wanted that album. And we did that, that we did that. Nobody ever has to hear it. But it wasn't us. It was for me. Here's what yeah, they go. Here they go. We got the documentary coming. Yeah, yeah, they got the documentary film, we did put out the EP who put up the video, go check it out. It's on all the streaming platforms, if you ain't heard it yet. It's the honesty EP comes with a award winning music video. Yes.

16:54

And it's in its album of substance like it is when I listened to it like, and then like the NAS is of the world. And when they're doing I'm like, I appreciate that more. You know, I mean, and yeah, not only that, I make it and it's, it's hard for me to listen to because I'm in a different place now. Yeah. But it's an album, a substance that I'm really proud of.

17:12

Yeah, that we did that is real. And this is poetry at its finest. It really is. Yeah. Let's talk a little about recovery, and the role it played in providing structure to you to get your life back on track. And your decision to seek help that a 12 step program.

17:28

Right, right. Well, it started with honesty, and we talked about earlier, going through that process. And you know, shooting a documentary, and, you know, really listening to honesty, and where I was at, and seeing you guys invest in so much in me, really, really wanted, you know, I wanted to make some changes, you know, I mean, then I was able to see the music video. And you know, for those who have seen it, or who haven't had a chance to experience it showcases some dark moments, some some things that I realistically, were going to write that wanted to admit it or not, yeah, they did a good job of capturing that. And so for me to have to see that on screen and recognize that I wrote those lyrics because I was in a place. It really, really gave me the strength to change my life. And so recovery for me, has given me a chance to go back and deal with some of those issues. We just talked about why wasn't added to me ultimately give me freedom. And I found myself I feel like I'm 15 Again, bro. All over started all over Brian, I found, you know, the high school ROI to this different different things that made me special outside of just spitting lyrics, you know, I mean, and it's amazing, man, because, you know, I now I'm achieving things I never thought I could or would Yeah, you know, I mean, which is crazy to me.

18:45

Yeah. So tell me a little about a little bit about the journey of being a recovery. To you become the director of the Community Care team at PMIC. And a little bit about what do you do over there?

19:00

Well, it's crazy, because they say, Have we ever seen in recovery that lost dreams are woken in new dreams are found. And through recovery, I was able to work on myself. And so what happens is you change like some ideologies. You know, I mean, and what happens is, they say, there's only one thing you got to change, and that's everything in order to stay clean. And so during that process, I was able to get a job giving back. And I never knew that I would be just as passionate about giving back to my community as I was for music. And so to this journey, I was able to realize that man, just same way I spit a metaphor, and I get the crowd's reaction, and they like, oh, is the same feeling I get when I show up to the hospital. And if somebody's bleeding on the bed after being shot, and I walk in the room, they're like little boy, yeah, and then I'm able to help them huh, it's crazy. I never thought I would. I would be doing that but also have the passion to do it. So I ended up becoming a street level gang outreach worker was industry eats. You know, we come from that come from that background, and we've been through some stuff. So while I was doing that my life was threatened. Because, you know, you know, we all got backgrounds. And so my organization had the foresight to get me off the streets, because during the time, it was a street street war going on, and I thought it wasn't safe for me. So I ended up landing in the mayor's office. Why they put it? Right, I started, I started really getting busy, you know, into becoming a supervisor. Use my rap my my presence and my charisma to do a lot of presentations, rub shoulders with the right people. And I just kind of shot up the ladder. And now you know, I'm the Director of the Community Care Team. And, you know, I traveled the nation for this work. I started off with supervising a staff before now I got 32 staff that oversee I think I had a contract one contract now oversee $50 million budget. And, yeah, that's crazy, right? That's crazy. Crazy. Drug addict, you know, I, you know, I sit with the US Attorney's, you know, Attorney General's around the nation, we talk about what I do, and I'm trusted with building this program. And I have I've done a great job

21:15

or job you've been down to the state capitol quite a bit now. Yeah, go down. What are you doing at the Capitol, man? So what are you doing that the

21:25

best question? I don't know, you know, what I realized is that, uh, you know, my pain earned me a seat at that time. And if we, if we as people, if we as a community and got a seat at that table, then we're probably on the menu. You know, I mean, so what I do, is I go there, and I represent. And what I've learned is a lot of times, I'm the smartest person in the room, believe it or not, believe it or not. And so policies around gun violence, it's a hot topic, I, you know, I'm what you call a content expert now, because evidence based best practices that I do, to where I educate them on gun violence, and how to support communities suffering from gun violence,

22:04

yes, a trip, um, you'd be surprised how much knowledge you learn in the streets. And that's why some of the best business people come from the streets and they made it out. Because they got a different type of hustle, and they got a different type of understanding on how to make things work. So if you can succeed in the streets, you can succeed in business anywhere, anywhere. Yeah. But you got to make it out. Not everybody makes it out. And you helped me make it out, man. Oh, man. Did I couldn't I couldn't let it happen. I

22:34

know man that's going down. Like Like, I don't again, like you paid you. You made sure I had a cell phone.

22:42

Well, yeah, give me we have to make sure we get to the show. Man, thank you so much. Yeah, man. Oh, man. It was my son. Thank

22:53

you my family. Thanks. You just thank you, man.

22:56

Oh my gosh, I'm doing grown grown. grown man. You guys. Oh, my gosh. What's up, little boy? I'm sure you see this sounds out the coil. Oh, boy. Yeah, no, quatro young. Yeah, that's crazy. But ma'am, I'm loving this spotlight show, man. So we're gonna do we're gonna take a break here. When we come back, we're gonna get into a little bit more about your impact and healing and the role you play in healing in the community. On time,

23:29

this syndicate live assist exists in combat, one, my history in the making, the making of this. Back to these words, like Welcome back.

23:46

Hey, welcome back to the spotlight Show. I'm your host, the one city podcast guy, city podcasts all about the power of networking and forming strategic alliances and in spotlighting individuals, businesses brands podcasters. We're just gonna bring a spotlight to people. That's what we're gonna do here. So let's get back to it. Let's talk a little about your, what you're doing now. Your positive influence and healing impact on the community as a respected figure in the recovery and violence prevention. World.

24:26

Yeah, I think a lot of people know my position. I know where I come from, from the music to you know, our life in the streets from being a drug addict. And so, it's given me a platform, you know, similar to music and similar to podcasting to where I can uplift. And a part of my job is to, you know, like, I spoke about it a little bit earlier to go into the hospitals and work with victims. I'm a survivor of gun violence, you know, I mean, several times over, you know, almost lost my life been shot. And so, what I know is credible messengers are the best people to work with people suffering, hurt people, hurt people and healed people heal people. So not only do I get a chance to get my testimony, but I get to hire other people like me. So I think my impact in the community is one my testimony, being a beacon of hope for people, but hiring other people and empowering them to do the same work becomes like a trickle effect. You know, I mean, I got like, predominate rappers who have changed their life working on my team, well known gang members who are, who are, you know, used to be shooters that are now actually working with my team giving back to the community. So I think that impact is widespread. And it's, it's amazing. And it's the same way in recovery. You know, I get to I get to make recovery look cool. And show people, especially for us, you know, you know, the stuff that we were involved with that if you're struggling, it's okay to get help. Because, you know, there's a stigma around it. Yes. You know, I remember being embarrassed early off to say, now, it's part of my identity, because I'm proud of it. Yeah. I'm proud that I'm, you know, I'm living a healthier life.

26:05

Well, that's the only way it's gonna work. You can't, you got to kind of own it. You can't be afraid of it and scared to admit that's what it is. I mean, that's how it works. That's one thing. Step one, you gotta admit, if you can't admit, then anyone are listening or work. That ain't gonna work. You relapsed before you know it before you know it. Yeah. Because it's in here. It's like being in denial. Yeah,

26:26

I got my ass whipped out there. I got my ass whipped out there. And I am not afraid to say it. So, yeah, I think that, um, you know, it's, it's a, it's an amazing thing, being able to look back on the person I was and who I am now, and recognize that that's a big part of what I do day to day now. is, you know, I mean, owning that person, but the highlight and who I am today, you know,

26:52

that's crazy. So tell me a little, little bit about some of your personal achievements. You know, as far as I know. You used to drive but you didn't have a license. I think you got your license back. Yeah. Yeah. Purchased a car. Your homeowner now

27:10

I'm a homeowner, man. Man.

27:13

You're engaged to be married, engaged to

27:15

be married? Don't get mad. First of all, shout out to my to my lovely fiancee, Rachel. Yeah, shout out to her.

27:22

Rachel. You see, didn't think I liked her first, whatever

27:24

that said. Yeah. Well, she's like that.

27:26

It was her it was it was where you you both were at where we were like, where you guys were at? Yeah. And so and she's

27:33

a big part of my story. Because yes, she we were in our addiction together. And we got cleaned together. Yes.

27:39

I really fast murder fest. I

27:40

first met her I first met her I met her the day my mom died. Mom at the hospital. Remember, she left just left my side since? Yeah, yeah. And so man, I mean, I love her to death. And she's seen me at my worst, and she's helped me become the best man. You know, I've never been one of lots of women never. Never had I have a look like this. You know, I mean, so. Yes, I saw the Rachel man. That's, you know, that's gonna be my wife for the rest of my life. Yeah, yeah. Love man. Yeah, man, no else no eyes, no insurance, driving high, open open containers, all that stuff, was able to get my license back man. And I got my license back through my program. And in order to get the job that I you know, that set me on this path. I had to have a license to have a license and had to get it had to get it right. I had to pay a bunch of fines went to clean a clean slate. Shut up the Clean Slate they paid off $1,000 Yeah, and got my job, man did all that. And, and I remember, we got our apartment, and we used to walk our dog. And we would walk we look at homes and I guess a nice home. And one day, man, we were walking. I was like, why am I buying a home? And it just kind of stuck in my head and I just checked on my bank and it was beginning to COVID Man and fucked around and fucked around.

29:00

Mr. Roy Moore, we can actually we can actually pull it off for you, too. You spoke about it earlier,

29:05

I was lucky enough not to come in. You know, I never went to jail. I didn't really have no credit. I didn't have bad credit. So I was able to what no credits better than bad credit and bad credit. And so I was lucky in that way. So I was able to build my credit up pretty pretty, pretty good but bought a house man and and

29:24

yeah, so what's that like being a homeowner that's my husband got to experience it. You know, you got to do your work and you gotta remodel stuff and

29:31

I'm doing that right now that I've replaced myself flooring, so I'm about to redo my bathroom. Upgrade, you know, I mean, yeah, but But you did experience homeowners you bought a home years ago you guys did remember?

29:43

We did but I didn't. I didn't buy it. You know, we was in in it together is is different. And I didn't go to the bank. I didn't get the wrong I didn't sign the papers. You know, I'm

29:53

saying right. Yeah. So, so yes and no, yes and no, you know, yeah, but that once again, if you're gonna do it They inspired me to do it, you know? But it's a different beast man. Yeah, get out there. I do yard work, you know, I mean, I invest in things like weed whackers you know, I mean and stuff like that. I want a gas or electric my mom or you know, just weird stuff. But I take pride in it today, you know?

30:19

Nice. Yeah. That's tight, man. Yeah, I'm proud of you, bro. Man, as I like, come to your house and say my boy owns this place. Yeah, man,

30:27

you know? Yeah, yeah, about that. Great. It's my first home and my forever home.

30:31

And the last one. The last one was the one right got to start somewhere. Yep. You know? Man, this is this. This is fun, bro. Yeah, I would have never thought I would like be in this on this side of the camera. Yeah, I've been on other side for so long and just chillin in the background and but sometime people think some wrong will mica we'll be sitting around. I won't say one word. One say one. One say one word. I'll just be sitting back chillin and just absorbing it all. But navy. No, I use all life. Yeah, that's you. I don't really just talk to be talking. Nope. You know, saying some people just like to talk and they just talk about anything. And for me if it's fair, a lot of people just having a conversation. And I'll chime in if it's something like I say or if I feel like it's worth saying. But I'm a chiller by nature by nature. And so this is it's called trip me up being

31:26

Yeah, if anybody knows you, they know that you're gonna get a sentence. Sometimes you might be like, Oh, okay. You got for me. But it's profound, you know? Yeah. So yeah, yeah.

31:38

Yeah. So the spotlight shows where it's at y'all. Oh, this is fun. It's getting getting close to the end. But I do have I do have some special for you, do you? I got him. Well, you know, we got a documentary coming. We've been working on it for a while. I got a lot of my bro. Justin has been putting in major, major, major work and major hours. On that thing mini documentary is, it's a beast. And I get people asking me all the time when you're gonna put the documentary out. I'm gonna put it out when it's ready. And it's ready. And it's done, right? I'm not just gonna put something out to be putting something out. Yeah, it's part of reason why I put the full out. Because I don't want to just put it out to be putting it out. And so I'm going to put the full album out on the full documentaries done. And that's always been a decision. Yeah, it's always been a bit of a you know, they kind of go hand in hand. But that's why I'm glad we put the EP out the honesty EP out if y'all ain't got it. Go check it out on any streaming platforms. It's there for you. Yeah, so we're gonna get into this teaser. Let's get into it.

32:44

But but but but but the story kept on evolving.

32:48

It did. So that's a good, that's another good reason. Right? Because it's still going Yeah, telling you. I was laying in bed one time. And I watched CNN. Yes. And so CNN was on and I wasn't watching the TV. But I heard a voice like that. Third on CNN was CNN doing following you in real

33:09

man. Because the work I do, man, they wanted to know about the gun violence in the city of Portland. And they reached out to some elected officials and they said you got to speak to Roy Moore.

33:18

As the man that's the man. That's crazy.

33:22

And so I was able to do a segment a story on CNN, about the work that I do here. You know, here in the town. I'm addressing gun violence and to that point, I'm being nominated for a National Award Minnesota timber out in Chicago. Well, I had a conference where this was hard. So it's weird, right? It's like from honesty to this work, you know,

33:45

it was meant to be it's meant to be it might have been you must have been the Colin bless you know, CNN Fox. He'd been all on the news I don't know how many phone calls I mean hey, man, so yes, what do you do? That's what I do. So yeah, let's let's get into the teaser here. And then we'll come back and wrap this thing up.

34:06

That's crazy. Let me see it

34:37

man, I got one more than there's a lot to me and Vonda this one she will be mad at me he will be mad at you. So let me go ahead and get this one on my chest. This one's really deep. This is one that's like me, it's up to me as possible. I'm sitting there talking traveling down this little journey all fucked up and I was going through some shit so I'm gonna give it to you. All. 38:45

38:47

38:56

powerful. Powerful. I mean, yeah. It's been a hell of a journey, man. Man, it's been a hell of a journey. It's tough to see some of that. If I can be honest. But it's, uh, it makes me sad. And like she said

39:17

that that's where he was at was that and

39:20

you know, my low where he's just in our journey, man, as being kids. And, you know, we fully grown. I'm at a place in my life to where I'm happy. And I never thought I'd be happy. Be happy. Yeah, you know, I mean, after all that last under all that. Like, that was a big deal for me. Like I just was, Oh, I was used to being having pain in some way. You know? I mean, and not to have that no more. Is a trip. Yeah.

39:54

You know, I've been like you said, I've always been a quiet person, I don't really care to have people all in my business. I'll still keep my personal personal.
